Chinyaradzo Children's Home

We are currently raising money to support Chinyaradzo Children's Home. Chinyaradzo is an orphanage in Highfields, a suburb of Harare, the capital city of Zimbabwe. Established in 1962, Chinyaradzo now provides full time residential care for 60 orphans and abandoned children up to 18 years of age.

Chinyaradzo was established by the Child Protection Society as a place of safety for children in difficult circumstances. Today, Chinyaradzo provides full time residential care for 60 orphans and abandoned children up to 18 years of age.

Educational Needs of the Children at the Center

Forty one of the children are of school going age and attend nearby schools in the community. Thirty four are in primary schools and seven are in secondary schools. There is preschool at the Home where children aged between three and five years of age receive early education and development.
